Since 2005, Mike has been working in the construction industry and has gained a broad range of experience. He has a Master of Science degree from Stanford University in Civil & Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in Construction Engineering Management, and a Bachelor of Science degree from UC Berkeley in Civil & Environmental Engineering. While attending school Mike worked for a concrete construction company during the summers, first as a laborer and eventually as an estimator. After graduating, he took on the challenge of working as a project engineering intern and later, upon completion of his graduate program, as a project engineer for a large international general contractor. Immediately prior to joining Wright Contracting, Mike worked as a project manager for an electrical subcontractor, responsible for creating project schedules and managing manpower, estimating and developing project budgets, and managing design for large design build projects. He has experience working on Lump Sum, Cost Plus, GMP, Design-Build, and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) projects. Mike’s education along with his experience working as a general contractor and as a subcontractor make him a valuable member to project teams.
