Olivet Elementary School – Admin/Staff Remodel

Project Description:  Includes renovation and expansion of the existing Administration Building, conversion of a classroom into a new staff room, a new covered walkway structure, ADA walkway improvements and site upgrades.  Construction Cost Estimate:  $1 million.  Work to be completed between June 8, 2016 thru September 23, 2016.

Scope of Work includes: 

Site and Building Demolition, Selective Interior Demolition, Grading, Paving, Utilities, Concrete, Structural Steel and Metal Decking, Rough and Finish Carpentry, Cabinetry, Insulation, Roofing Modifications and Repair, Metal Roofing, TPO Roofing, Joint Sealants, Door/Frames/Hardware, Windows & Glazing Systems, Skylights, Plaster, Drywall, Tile, Fabric Wrapped Ceiling Panels, Floorcoverings, Cork Wall Covering, Painting, Visual Display Surfaces, Signage, Toilet Accessories, Laundry Accessories, Fire Extinguishers and Cabinets, Residential Appliances, Windowcoverings, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical & Low Voltage Systems.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:

  • Wright Contracting Inc. is the selected Lease/Leaseback General Contractor for this project.
  • This project is subject to the recently adopted requirements of Assembly Bill 566 as applies to Lease/Leaseback construction projects; and in particular the stringent Apprenticeship requirements.  SUBCONTRACTORS must be able to comply with all components of this new law.  Contact this office for additional information.
  • MEP Subcontractors are not subject to prequalification as the District has less than 2500 students.
  • ALL subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) prior to bidding on this project.
  • Prevailing Wage Rates apply, Certified Payrolls required.
  • Wright Contracting is signatory to the Carpenters Union.

The Meadows of Napa Valley Expansion

Wright Contracting is soliciting subcontractor bid proposals for The Meadows of Napa Valley Expansion projects.The bid date has been extended until May 24th at 2:00 pm.

Project Scope Includes:  This   project is an expansion of the existing Meadows of Napa Valley campus.  Expansion consists of four main projects along with a landscape/sitework package.  Each project will be priced and permitted separately.  Portions of the project are under OSHPD jurisdiction. Anticipated start date of June 1, 2016.

  • Phase IVB – West Entry:  Provide a covered entry to be used while the main covered entry is demolished for construction during other phases.  One portion of the west canopy is temporary and will be removed when the new main entry is complete.  Under OSHPD jurisdiction.
  • Phase IVB – North Entry:  Demolish and reconstruction North Canopy covered drop off area.  Project includes new parking lot and site work. Under OSHPD jurisdiction.
  • Phase IVB – Physical / Occupational Therapy Expansion:   Expansion and renovation of existing PT/OT space.  Under OSHPD jurisdiction.
  • Phase IVC – Independent Living Expansion:    Project consists of the demolition of two (2) existing 2-story wings of the existing building and building back two (2) new 3-story wings (174,780 SF).  Project includes new underground parking garage (43,000 SF).  Demolished building is wood construction with stucco, new building is load bearing light gage (Type IB) with StoTherm ci Essence exterior.  This phase consists of 92 living units with a small lobby/commons area and offices on the first floor.
  • Phase IVD – Pool Building:  Construct new fitness center including locker rooms, exercise room, indoor pool and covered walkway tie-in to the existing campus building.  (11,500 SF).  Building is single story wood construction, fully sprinklered.
  • Phase IVF - Atrium Interior Renovation & Dining Expansion:  This phase provides an expanded main dining room along with kitchen expansion and upgrades.  (5,000 SF)  Also includes finish and lighting upgrades throughout the central common space.  Add new full service kitchen into the existing deli.  Phased construction to maintain operation throughout construction.  Building is single story wood construction, fully sprinklered.
