SRJC Library Project
As Construction Managers for the Sonoma County Junior College District,
Wright Contracting managed and coordinated the construction of the $37
million Frank P. Doyle Library in the heart of the Santa Rosa Junior College
campus. This new library will be the hub of the SRJC information system,
and designed to compliment the historic brick gothic buildings of the existing
central campus. In addition to traditional library functions, the facility
contains distance learning classrooms, an art gallery, tutorial center
and an experimental multi-media laboratory. Wrights role included coordination
and interaction between the contractors, architects, engineers and campus
personnel.
