“I’ve had the opportunity to work on the LEED Gold-certified Queen of the Valley North Acute Care Building, Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital’s expansion and renovation, Dominican College’s Edgehill Mansion, Sutter Health’s Advanced Surgery Center wing remodel (the first LEED Gold surgery center), and SRJC’s parking structure.”

Greatest professional achievement: The Santa Rosa Junior College parking garage was the largest concrete pour in Sonoma County.

Best advice received: Follow your passion and be the best at it.

Community/nonprofit activities: “As an elder at the Cove Church, I helped procure and remodel a new church building in one month. I also work with Rebuilding Together, a national nonprofit that rehabilitates homes free for low-income homeowners, the elderly and those with disabilities.”

Mentor/admired businessperson: Don Danner, my high school drafting and shop teacher, taught me the latest Autodesk AutoCAD house modeling software, introduced me to developers and opened doors to possibilities in the building industry.

The expansion and addition of Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyard’s Bodega fermentation and barrel storage aimes to achieve LEED Gold Certification. This new 30,000 SF building includes additional capacity of nearly 8,000 barrels, six 25,000 gallon fermentation tanks, and three 100,000 gallon fermentation tanks. New structural fills and utilities including a storm drain retention system, are topped with new perimeter roadways, parking and bin staging area.

Araujo Estate Winery Cave Cooling System

We are coring through the hill and into the existing cave ceilings for the addition of cooled air ducts and chilled glycol lines, to provide supplemental forced air and hydronic cooling and heating, and 100% air evacuation to the existing cave. New floor drains, new area-dividing shotcrete bulkheads with doors, new lighting, and new cold glycol connection points for portable wine tanks are also being installed.

Wright is seeking subcontractor bid proposals for the WCCUSD Portola Middle School at Castro. The project consists of both major and minor modernization of the existing main school building and construction of three (3) new buildings to house Portola Middle School at the current Castro Site and associated site work. Major trade subcontractors must be prequalified with the WCCUSD for bids over $500,000. Prequalifications were due to WCCUSD on February 21, 2013. Please contact Barbara with any questions. SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: A Project Labor Agreement is in place and project is subject to the District's Apprenticeship Resolution. District has a Local Capacity Building Program (LCBP) - Local Business Goals and Local Hiring Goals. Prevailing Wage Rates apply. Subcontractors must review project specifications for details of these programs and requirements. Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) are encouraged to bid. WCCUSD Prequalification of Trade Contractors/Subcontractors

Wright is hereby notifying Major Trade Subcontractors of our intent to bid the Portola Middle School Modernization and the WCCUSD's requirement that all Trade Contractors/Subcontractors submitting a subcontract price that exceeds five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) must be pre-qualified with the WCCUSD.

If your firm intents to bid the Portola Middle School Modernization project, and you anticipate your bid price to exceed $500,000, you must submit a pre-qualification form to the WCCUSD by no later than Thursday, February 21, 2013.
