Three story steel-framed LEED Platinum Building situated on a steep slope in the center of an occupied school campus. The Science and Innovation Center includes six lab classrooms and an independent study lab to support the innovative science program. A two-story “hub” space will provide key circulation space and will house an art/science gallery, small breakout spaces outside the classroom, and small meeting nooks to serve the entire Marin Academy campus. Portions of the hub will have the ability to open to the adjacent science garden when weather permits.
